I am so pleased to say that I have finally upgraded! With an overwhelming amount of new and might I add, AMAZING clients I pushed myself (and kyle :p) to move my quarters..to the next room over- LOL. It is coming along, but still has ways to go! I wanted to share with you my progress so far. Are there any design divas out there that can give me some tips and tricks on how to make this room super GLAM?!
Lashing has honestly become something I love to do. Not only does it make me feel great to see the end product, but the women I have met truly have changed my life. It is amazing how much you can learn from one person in such a small amount of time. Hearing their stories while chatting through the appointment has made me think and appreciate my life, and the people in it. Even though sometimes things may feel hard in your life, or feel like you cant fall any deeper push through it, because you CAN do it.
One of my recent clients told me about her husband passing away this March, I had no words that could heal her broken heart. She had lost her husband, best friend, and the father of her children. We talked about the pain and the struggle to move on. I mentioned my cousin Brendon who has had brain tumors and was paralyzed from the neck down. Doctors told my aunt that he would not make it much longer. He is now 26. Yeah, he may be living in a nursing home, laying there unable to move, or talk, but Brendon has more courage, strength and personality than any other person I know. After telling her about Brendon, she made a comment that has stuck in my head ever since. "Wow, that just made me think that even though I may feel like I am in the worst situation, there are so many others everyday who go through things much much harder, god bless your cousin and his family".
I was shocked. How could someone who just lost her husband say such a kind thing? My world stopped for a split second. She was so right. Even though some days I may feel like nothing else could go more wrong, it could. I need to be thankful every single day for the life I have and more importantly, the people in it. I am SO blessed to have Kyle, my entire family and friends in my life. They have all impacted me in ways I cannot put into words. Thank you, thank you, thank you, for being there no matter what. I love you all.

One more note before I go...
Today I was at an appointment and saw a girl with the most beautiful smile. I literally wanted to tell her "you know, you have the most gorgeous smile" but I held back due to insecurities. 30 seconds later, the same girl came up to me and said, I have to tell you have the most beautiful dress on and I love your makeup! She was so kind, and made me smile so big.
I felt so horrible that I didnt have the confidence to go up to her first and say what I wanted to. It made me realize that something so small can make a persons day. If I had just gone up to her first, like I wanted to, maybe I could have made her feel just as happy.
Another lesson learned on my part is forget what others may think. Even a small smile will make someone's day. So from now on, I decided to heck with it! - I am not holding back because of my own insecurities.

Lash Attack

Dearest Divas,
Life has been pretty crazy recently- but in a good way! I have been busy doing tons of lash extensions, they are my newest obsession! I can not put into words how amazing they look on each and every one of my clients..now if I could only find someone to do mine :)
Other than lashing I have been busy with makeup gigs and taking care of my fur babies. So far Arizona has been treating me well- the temperature has been so amazing. Lets just cross our fingers and hope it stays that way.
Hope all you divas have been having a great summer and staying healthy! PS- talking about healthy.. is anyone else obsessed with cannolis? My mom gave me a lecture today about how bad sugar is for our bodies... uh oh- is anyone else willing to do one of the most hardest things in life with me and cut out sugar ...

GlossyKisses,
ErinEstelle
